Zinc: A Day in the Life

Zinc, the leading compliance software platform for the life sciences industry (now part of Veeva) asked us to develop and produce a film to convey their personality, product offering, global presence and service focus. We presented the idea of a 'Day in the Life' - which led to an ambitious round-the-world-on-a-shoestring shoot and rather a lot of footage to edit.

The Brief:

To add a human face to a software brand, putting real employees on camera and talking about the product offering, ethos and global locations of the company in a creative way.

The Project:

With 24 hours in the life of Zinc as the concept, this project demanded a tight grasp of budget and logistics. We worked closely with Zinc’s marketing team to hone the messaging and content, fully scripted and storyboarded every aspect of the film in advance, then sent our intrepid cameramen off to film interviews and location shots in Oxford, New York and Sydney. Editorially, the final film needed to balance serious product messaging with the softer, human face of the company. By telling Zinc’s story through the people who lived and breathed it, we believe we hit the right tone.
