Bridgestone & Valentino Rossi: Engineered to Succeed
Bridgestone Tyres and Valentino Rossi share a winning DNA in this promotional piece for for Bridgestone Tyres, Official Tyre Supplier to MotoGP. Motion graphics studio Breakfast of Champions asked us to help develop and produce the film, which included a one-day shoot in Italy with Mr Rossi himself.
As part of a sponsorship deal with MotoGP, Bridgestone Tyres had access to MotoGP superstar Valentino Rossi for one day in Italy. The challenge: maximise that day to create compelling campaign content in the run-up to MotoGP.
Our client Breakfast of Champions had proposed the ‘DNA’ concept to Bridgestone – and they loved it! We were asked to develop the concept and story, then produce the shoot with Rossi, which required a green screen shoot to recreate scenes from his childhood, which were then cut against old footage from his family archives.
