At Ink & Air, we’re writers, producers and directors – but we’re storytellers first and foremost. Everything we do is about distilling a brand or product message into the most compelling piece of content – but it’s film that really fires us up and allows us to flex our creative muscle. Words before pictures
It might sound a little odd to say that when it comes to making films we put words before pictures, but every filmmaker has a process and this is ours. Before we even begin considering what your brand film might look like, we think hard about what it needs to say. We then start to write the story. Even if the final film ends up with as a pure image film, we find that writing a detailed script before we start thinking about imagery helps us to sense-check the narrative, tone and shape of the film. We then storyboard, shoot and edit – working with experts in their respective fields to ensure the very highest production values. To us, a beautiful brand film is more than skin deep: of course it needs to look great, but ultimately it’s the story that matters most.
